This is my first attempt at rappelling. Pretty scary! When I looked over the edge all I could think of was losing control of the rope and just falling down.
That's me and my cousin Travis. He lives in South Carolina (where this picture was taken). He's a senior right now, and has a wonderful girlfriend which he may even marry some day, who knows? They're planning to go to college together. I hope everything works out for them.
At the end of noon meal formation, which we have every day, they march the flag in. I got out of formation that day because I had to escort some officers to lunch that's why I had the rare opportunity to take this picture. It's pretty cool don't you think. I like looking at the American Flag, it always gives me goose bumps.
This is the view out of my room window. That's what I wake up to every morning. this has it's good and it's bad points. The good is I get to see a beautiful sunrise every morning (just about), but the bad thing is I have to be up that early every morning. UGh. 5 hours of sleep gets sooo old after a while.
